Green Beans Almondine

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, snapped and washed
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 4 oz sliced almonds
  • salt and pepper

Melt butter in a large saute pan and add green beans. Saute beans for 5 minutes on medium to medium high heat. Add almonds and saute an additional 2-3 minutes or until the almonds achieve a golden brown color. Season with salt and pepper. Great addition to almost any meal, or on their own.
