Green (Cilantro) Chutney
Makes ~2 cups
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 3 chopped chilis (jalapeno, serrano, whatever is available)
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice (or lime)
- 1/2 inch chunk ginger, chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cumin seed (1/2 tsp ground)
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tsp sugar
Blend non cilantro ingredients to form a paste. Add cilantro a little at a time, blend till smooth. Add water as needed and adjust to proper consistency/taste.
