Leigh Ann's Cracklin' Corn Bread
- 1-1/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup corn meal
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 egg, beaten
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, mix wet ingredients. Combine until just moistened. Pour into a grease 8 inch square or round pan. If using a 9x13" cake pan, double the recipe. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
