Real Hamburgers
- 1 lb beef chuck
- 1 lb beef sirloin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- salt and pepper
Start by trimming excess fat and grizzle off the meat. Rough cut all meat into 1 inch cubes. Add all meat to food processor and pulse about 20, 1 second pulses. The meat should begin to come together, but it should still be a little chunky. Remove meat from processor and form into regular sized hamburger patties. Season with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder. Because you are using steak for these burgers, it is best to cook to medium rare or medium. These burgers are sooooo juicy, and they taste like a steak on a bun. Throw on a bun with all your favorite extras.
