Shrimp Cocktail

  • 1lb. 31-40 shrimp
  • 1 block cream cheese
  • 1 package of your favorite crackers or crostini
  • 1 container of your favorite cocktail sauce
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 Tbsp black peppercorns
  • 1 tsp paprika and cayenne pepper
  • parsley for garnish

Boil shrimp with black peppercorns, paprika, and cayenne for 5-7 minutes or until they reach mid-well doneness. Shock in an ice bath and set aside. To plate, place a little cream cheese on the crackers or crostini and add 1 or 2 shrimp. Top with cocktail sauce and a squeeze of lemon, and garnish with parsley.
